FLEE IDOLATRY!!!

Do not be decieved, idolaters will have their part in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone." - Revelations 21:8.
The Lord said how people are caught up in idolatry and they do not know it.
He said he is tired of seeing that the same people filling up churches are the same ones populating hell.

AN IDOL IS ANYTHING THAT YOU PUT FIRST BEFORE GOD IN YOUR LIFE. THE THING THAT YOU WOULD RATHER BE DOING INSTEAD OF DOING GOD'S WORK. WHEN YOU HAVE A CHOICE BETWEEN DOING SOMETHING FOR GOD AND ANOTHER THING, IF YOU CHOOSE THAT OTHER THING OVER GOD'S WORK, THEN THAT IS YOUR IDOL.
The Lord Jesus Christ told me 3 major idols which His children are caught up in:
1. FOOTBALL: The Lord Jesus Christ said this is the greatest idol among His children today. When it comes to football, some people would even rather miss church. He said this is a huge obstacle keeping people from entering Heaven. The Lord said football has even become the source of hatred and anger among people supporting different teams. People would dump God's work any time to watch football. He said, "My children should give up that Idol if they really want to see My face. They have to choose between football and I, they can't have both of us at the same time." Matthew 6:24.
People even have stampedes over football and there are even cases of death reported from just celebrating football but there can never be a stampede that people were rushing to church. That is an idol. Luke 16:15 says "What is held with high regard among men is an abomination in the sight of God."
Some people say all games should not be played but I don't know about that. The Lord Jesus Christ just told me that football is an Idol among His children today. It is the number one loved and worshipped and often the cause of confusion and chaos. One has to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit on the other games. He just told me football.

2. POSSESSIONS: The Lord Jesus Christ said people don't want to completely let go of the world. He said they want to get rid of some and still continue with some but that is living a double life. ◄ Galatians 6:7 says
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows."
Whatever you are failing to give up completely and be holy, is your idol. If you are saying it is hard for you to stop doing some things, how hard do you think it was for Jesus to be beaten up until they could count all His bones, spat on, made to wear a crown of thorns, stripped of His clothes and made to hang for hours on a cross for you?In front of the whole world? If Jesus gave up everything for you, why are you just failing to give up just that one little thing? Is it worth eternal doom?
Jesus said people care more about making a living and spending their time keeping busy for things that will perish. If you never have time for God, what ever is keeping you busy is your idol because you love it more than you love God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 says Idolaters will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. The Bible says we should store up our treasures in Heaven. That should be our number one priority.

3. FRIENDS: The Lord Jesus Christ said some people love pleasing their friends over pleasing him. If you want to serve God but you let your friends influence you into the things of the world, they are your idols. If you wanted to spend time with God in praying and reading the Bible and then, suddenly your friends come to see you, if you decide to dump God for them, they are your idols. ◄
Matthew 10:37 says
"Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Even your own parents or family members can become your idols if you choose to obey them over the Lord. For example if they ask you to take part in traditions which don't please God and you fail to resist them. The Bible says obey your parents IN THE LORD So if they lead you away from the Lord, you are not to obey them because the greatest commandment is to love God first.
The Lord also said His children are still playing evil phone and laptop games. Any game that involves violence, nudity, killing, shooting, etc, is not pleasing to God. A Christian should be led by the Holy Spirit and not just jump into doing things anyhow.
The devil is very cunning. He will make you think you are on the right way but still has you trapped in a different way and he will have demons to possess you through that. We should completely give up the love of the world.
There are even some games like Zuma, snake and ladder, etc, which have satanic symbols in them. The Lord revealed that if a Christian plays such, the demons will be watching him. God can't protect you in that area because you have disobeyed him.
Not every game is bad. If it is a clean game without the above mentioned and any evil, it should be alright as long as one does not grow addicted to it. Addiction is idolatry. Even getting addicted to the internet is idolatry.
The Lord Jesus Christ does not refuse his children to have fun. Some people say all games are bad but that is incorrect. When the Lord says something, it's to keep us from satanic traps and to guide us in the right way and not to oppress us. Anyone refusing you to have fun when you are not sinning is oppressing you. There is no such teaching in the Bible. In fact, one of the fruit of the Spirit is being joyful.
The road to Heaven is indeed hard as Matthew 7:13-14 says we should STRIVE to enter because the road is NARROW and DIFFICULT and FEW find it. But the road to hell is BROAD and easy to follow. The majority of people are running in the broad way.
Matthew 16:24-26 says "Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?"
We can only manage if we crucify our flesh and be ready to carry our crosses everyday in prayer, reading the Word, evangelising and asking for God's guidance.
If we do this we will manage to finish the race in this narrow and difficult road.
